Meeting was called to order at 7:02 by President Janus Rose.

Reports
•Minutes: Accepted.
•Treasurer’s Report: SMUG has a balance of $4123.50. Our PO Box needed to be paid. Taxes for 2002 and 2003 were not paid. Randy paid the taxes and penalties in the amounts $250 and $280. Approved.
•Membership Report: 64 current members. 1 new member. We had 33 people at the April meeting. John will add the membership price adjustments to the labels for the newscards. Approved.
•Newsletter/Publicity Report: Nothing to report.
•Webmaster Report: Not Present. Nothing to report. Janus will send the Bylaws to Ken for posting on smugweb. John is still working out the bugs on the on-line form for Ken.
•SIG’s (Special Interest Groups): Video SIG this month is TBA. Graphics SIG will meet 5/9 7:00 at Janus Rose's house.

Old Business
The April meeting went well. It was all good. The whole ambassadorship thing is in limbo until Janus' schedule lightens up. John is ready for the may renewal drive and everything seems to be on track. John will be crafting a new hinge of sorts for the powerbook. Can you say Frankenstein? Or is it Frahnkensteen.
