Product Demonstrations
At each meeting we have demonstrations of great Mac software and hardware. We're a general purpose group, so we try to offer programs that appeal to many interests and levels of experience.

Support from Other Users
Our primary purpose is to provide an opportunity for Mac users to meet and share knowledge, problems and solutions. We also have separate SIGs (Special Interest Groups) which meet separately and focus on specific programs, or areas of interest.

Area Mac News
As a member of SMUG, you'll receive our newsletter, the Stateline MacNews. You'll get news about our group and meetings, as well as hints, tips, and useful information about curent Mac products.

Macintosh Information
You'll have access to information which comes directly from Apple and third party vendors. Technical information, special offers, and a variety of demonstration packages are available.

Shareware and Freeware
A cd-of-the-month collection filled with the latest public domain software and shareware is available to SMUG members for only $5.00 per disk. Non-member cost is $10.00.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions

What if you are a beginner?

We try to offer something for members at all levels of experience. Each meeting starts with a Q&A period. We encourage questions, especially those that are "too dumb to ask" (there aren't any). We try to structure demos so everyone can learn from them.

How do you find out more?

Glad you asked
1) Come to a meeting. All are welcome.
